Staind Picture
Staind is a four-piece alternative band from Springfield, Massachusetts. Staind self-released their debut album, Tormented, in November 1996. Their second album, Dysfunction (produced by Fred Durst and released on Elektra Records), was their breakthrough record, and has sold more than two million albums in the United States. However, it was the release of the single "Outside" off of The Family Values Tour '99 compilation that sent Staind into superstar status. With heartbreaking lyrics and great acoustic guitar, the single garnered massive radio airplay and was a major force behind sending Staind's next album, Break the Cycle, into multiplatinum status.

Let It Out Lyrics

Staind

There's nothing left
Nothing left to hold onto
There is no reason to fight anymore
Let it all go
It'll be easier I know
Weight on my shoulders doesn't show
So now I stand here
Sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
But there was nothing I could do
Now I stand here
With nothing left to say to you
If you feel I could sing along
It might help me make it through
Try to move on
Nothing left to hurt me now
I hope its all in the past to stay
Try to see through
All the fucked up shit we do
And hope that we all dont drift away
Now I stand here
Sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
But there was nothing I could do
So now I stand here
With nothing left to stay to you
If you feel I could sing along
It might help me make it through
So let it all out
Nothing left to hold onto
There is no reason for me to fight anymore
I let it all go
It feels so much better now I know
The weight on my shoulders tells me so
So now I stand here
Sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
There was nothing I could do
So now I stand here
With nothing left to say to you
If you feel I could sing along
It might help me make it through
There's nothing left
None of it's worth holding on to
There is no reason for me to fight anymore
